Use the Binaural Tone module to choose your target brainwave state. Select a "Beat Frequency" like 10 Hz for focus (Alpha) or 2 Hz for sleep (Delta).
Use the Background Noise and Effects modules to create a rich soundscape. Add Pink Noise to block distractions, then apply a Lowpass Filter to make it sound soft and gentle.
Press Play to listen live, or use the Download button and Session Timer to render your custom session as a high-quality .wav file for offline listening on any device.
Play/Stop: Starts or stops the live audio generation in your browser.
Download: Renders your current settings as a `.wav` file. The length of the file is determined by the "Duration" set in the Session Timer.
Session Timer: Automatically stops playback after the set number of minutes. This is perfect for timed focus sessions (like the Pomodoro Technique) or for falling asleep without having audio play all night.
Master Volume: Controls the final, overall volume of the entire soundscape.
Fade-In/Fade-Out: These sliders set the duration for the audio to gently fade in at the beginning of a session and fade out at the end, providing a smoother listening experience.
Load Session Preset: The main dropdown menu where you can select from built-in presets (like Brainwave States or Solfeggio Frequencies) or any presets you have saved yourself.
Save Current as Preset: After creating a sound you like, type a name in the text box and click "Save" to add it to the "My Saved Presets" list for future use.
Delete Selected Preset: To remove one of your custom presets, select it from the dropdown and click this button.
Carrier Frequency: The base pitch of the tone you hear. A low value (e.g., 150 Hz) is deep and rumbly, while a high value (e.g., 500 Hz) is clearer and more melodic.
Beat Frequency: This is the most important setting. It's the "phantom" frequency your brain perceives, which encourages brainwave entrainment. Set this to your target state (e.g., 10 Hz for Alpha focus, 2 Hz for Delta sleep).
Waveform: Changes the timbre of the tone. 'Sine' is the purest and most relaxing. 'Square', 'Sawtooth', and 'Triangle' are more complex and buzzy, which some users prefer for active focus sessions.
Tone Volume: Adjusts the loudness of the binaural tone independently from the background noise.
Noise Type: Choose 'White' (hissy), 'Pink' (balanced, like rain), or 'Brown' (deep, like a waterfall) to mask external distractions and create a pleasant ambience.
Noise Volume: Controls the loudness of the background noise.
Filter Type: Shapes the sound of the noise. 'Lowpass' is most common, as it removes high-frequency hiss and makes the noise sound "muffled" and softer. 'Highpass' does the opposite, making it sound thin. 'Bandpass' isolates a narrow range of frequencies.
Filter Frequency: Sets the cutoff point for the filter. For a Lowpass filter, lowering this value makes the noise sound darker and more muffled.
Filter Q (Resonance): A more advanced control that adds a resonant "peak" at the cutoff frequency. Higher values can create a "whistling" or "sweeping" sound effect.
The LFO (Low-Frequency Oscillator) adds continuous, evolving movement to your sound to keep it from feeling static. It automatically turns a knob of your choice up and down.
LFO Target: Choose which parameter the LFO will control. 'Tone Volume' creates a pulsing effect (tremolo). 'Carrier Freq' creates a pitch wobble (vibrato). 'Noise Filter Freq' creates a "sweeping" or "whooshing" effect on the noise.
LFO Waveform: The shape of the movement. 'Sine' is a smooth wave, while 'Square' is an abrupt on/off switch.
LFO Frequency: How fast the LFO moves. A low value (e.g., 0.1 Hz) is a very slow, gentle evolution.
LFO Depth: How much effect the LFO has. 100% means it will turn the target knob through its full range.
This effect automatically balances the volume, making quiet parts louder and loud parts quieter. It "glues" the binaural tone and the background noise together into a more cohesive, professional-sounding mix.
Time: Sets the time between each echo. Feedback: Controls how many echoes you hear before they fade away. Wet/Dry Mix: Adjusts the volume of the echoes relative to the original sound. This is great for creating spacious, meditative soundscapes.
